PRIVACY POLICY

Layers Of Awakening · Privacy Policy · Effective September 12 2026 · Version 1

This policy explains what Layers Of Awakening ("we") collects when you use www.layers-of-awakening.com, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as a website can. There are no accounts and no shop. There is a contact form, and if you use it we may also email you about new layers, as explained below.

1. What we collect

Visiting any page:

Standard server and analytics data collected by our web host: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, referring site, approximate location from IP to run the Site and see which pages are read.

Kept per our web host's retention period; we keep no separate copy.

Watching an embedded video:

YouTube (Google) sets its own cookies when a video loads or plays.

Video playback; Google's analytics.

Governed by Google's privacy policy.

Erie's Companion:

The text you type. It is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the reply to produce the answer.

Not stored by us. The provider processes it to generate the reply and, under its terms, may retain it briefly for abuse prevention. We do not link it to you.

Contact form or email:

Your email address, your message and your name. Form submissions are stored by our web host, sent to our mailbox, and your email address is added to our mailing list held with our email provider to answer you, and to send you occasional emails about new layers, the channel and things Layers Of Awakening offers or recommends (including affiliate offers).

We keep your message: until the exchange is over and your email address: for as long as you stay subscribed; removed within 10 days of an unsubscribe request.

We do not collect health information and we ask you not to type such information into Erie's Companion.

2. Cookies

Our web host sets cookies needed to serve the Site and, if enabled, analytics cookies; embedded videos set cookies from the video platform (YouTube, a Google service). You can block cookies in your browser; the Site still works, though embedded videos may not play.

3. How we use and share data

We use the data above only to run the Site, answer you, and understand which pages are read. We do not sell personal information, do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and do not use it to build profiles. If you contact us, we may email you about new layers and about things Layers Of Awakening offers or recommends; you can stop them at any time by writing to hello@layers-of-awakening.com. We share data only with the service providers described above (our web host, our email provider, the video platform, and the AI provider behind Erie's Companion) under their terms, and when the law requires.

3a. Marketing emails

When you send us a message through the contact form you are told, next to the button, that we may email you about new layers, and by sending the message you agree to that. We send such emails through our email provider, which processes your address on our behalf. We do not rent, sell or swap our list. The form also shows a checkbox; we only email you marketing if you tick it. Unsubscribe at any time writing to hello@layers-of-awakening.com.

4. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are under 18, please use the Site with a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email hello@layers-of-awakening.com and we will delete it.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area) you may have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Because we hold almost nothing, most requests will be answered by confirming that. Write to hello@layers-of-awakening.com; we respond within 30 days and will not discriminate against you for asking.

6. International transfers

The Site is operated from the United States and its providers process data there. By using the Site from elsewhere you understand your data is processed in the United States.

7. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. We rely on our web host's and our providers' security measures; no method is perfectly secure.

8. Changes and contact

We will post changes here and update the effective date. Questions: Layers Of Awakening · hello@layers-of-awakening.com
